THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR  VEHICLE
To set the alarm:
Removethekeysfromtheignitionswitchandgetout
ofthevehicle.
Lockthedoorusingeitherthedoorkey,powerdoor

lockswitch,ortheKeylessEntryTransmitterandcloseall
doors.
To disarm the system:
Unlock a front door using either the key or the Keyless
EntryTransmitter.

TheSETlightonthetopoftheinstrumentpanelwill
flashrapidlyfor16seconds.Thisshowsthatthesystem
is arming. If the light comes on but does not flash, the
systemisstillarmed,butthereisaprobleminthetrunk
circuit. After 16 seconds the SET light will continue to
flashslowly.Thisshowsthatthesystemisfullyarmed.
TamperAlert
Ifthehornsounds3timeswhenyouunlockafrontdoor
using either a key or the Keyless Entry Transmitter, the
alarmhadbeentriggered.Checkthevehiclefortamper-
ing.
