Storing and Selecting Pre-Set Channels

Whenthedesiredprogramisobtained,presstheЉSCANЉ
button within five seconds. The channel will change to
thenextchannelthatmatchestheprogramtypeselected.
Inadditiontothe10AMand10FMpre-setstations,you
may also commit 10 satellite stations to push button
memory.Thesesatellitechannelpre-setstationswillnot
eraseanyAMorFMpre-setmemorystations.Followthe
memorypre-setproceduresthatapplytoyourradio.

Using the PTY (Program Type) Button (if
equipped)
Follow the PTY button instructions that apply to your
radio.

Reception Quality
Satellitereceptionmaybeinterruptedduetooneofthe
followingreasons.

The vehicle is parked in an underground parking
structureorunderaphysicalobstacle.
NOTE: Pressing the ЉSEEKЉ or ЉSCANЉ button while
performingamusictypescanwillchangethechannelby
one and stop the search. Pressing a pre-set memory
buttonduringamusictypescan,willcallupthememory
channelandstopthesearch.

Dense tree coverage may interrupt reception in the
formofshortaudiomutes.
• Drivingcauseintermittentunderwidereception.bridgesoralongtallbuildingscan

Placing objects over or too close to the antenna can
causesignalblockage.
