Thesystemhasbeendeactivatedtopreventdamageto
the brake system due to overheated brake tempera-
tures.
TIRES
Propertireinflationpressureisessentialtothesafeand
satisfactory operation of your vehicle. Three primary
areasareaffectedbyimpropertirepressure:
NOTE: Extended heavy use of Traction Control may
causethesystemtodeactivateandturnontheTraction
ControlOFFLight,indicatedbyTRACOFF,locatedin
theinstrumentcluster.
1. Safety—
WARNING!
Thisistopreventoverheatingofthebrakesystemandis
anormalcondition.Aftercooling,thesystemwillauto-
maticallyreactivateandturnofftheTRACOFFlight.

Improperly inflated tires are dangerous and can
causeaccidents.
Under inflation increases tire flexing and can
resultintirefailure.
Over inflation reduces a tire’s ability to cushion

Ifyourvehiclebecomesstuckinmud,ice,orsnow,turn
the Traction Control System Off before attempting to
“rock”thevehiclefree.
