AlltireswithSteelCarcassPlies(ifequipped):
Thistypeoftireutilizessteelcordsinthesidewalls.Assuch,they
cannotbetreatedlikenormallighttrucktires.Tireservice,including
adjustingtirepressure,mustbeperformedbypersonneltrained,
supervisedandequippedaccordingtoFederalOccupationalSafetyand
HealthAdministration(OSHA)regulations.Forexample,duringany
procedureinvolvingtireinflation,thetechnicianorindividualmust
utilizearemoteinflationdevice,andensurethatallpersonsareclearof
thetrajectoryarea.
WARNINGAninflatedtireandrimcanbeverydangerousif
improperlyused,servicedormaintained.Toavoidseriousinjury,
neverattempttore-inflateatirewhichhasbeenrunflatorseriously
under-inflatedwithoutfirstremovingthetirefromthewheelassembly
forinspection.Donotattempttoaddairtotiresorreplacetiresor
wheelswithoutfirsttakingprecautionstoprotectpersonsand
property.
