On4x2vehicles,itisacceptabletotowthevehiclewiththefrontwheels
onthegroundandtherearwheelsoffthegroundusingawheellift
On4x4vehicles,itisrecommendedthatyourvehiclebetowedusing
flatbedequipmentwithallthewheelsofftheground.However,awheel
liftmaybeusedtolifttherearofthevehiclesolongas,dependingon
vehicleconfigurations,thefollowingpreparationsaremet:

OnElectronicShift-On-the-Fly(ESOF)vehicles,the4WDcontrolis
turnedtothe2WDpositionpriortotowing.
Onmanual-shifttransfercasevehicles,thetransfercaseshiftleveris
intheN(Neutral)positionandthefrontwheelhublocksareinthe
UNLOCKEDpositionpriortotowing.
Note:OnDualRearWheel(DRW)vehicles,anouterrearwheelmustbe
removedpriortousingawheelliftwrecker.
