vehicleiscarrying.Themaximumpayloadforyourvehiclecanbefound
ontheTireLabelontheB-Pillarortheedgeofthedriver’sdoor.Look
for“THECOMBINEDWEIGHTOFOCCUPANTSANDCARGO
SHOULDNEVEREXCEEDXXXkgORXXXlb.”formaximum
payload.Thepayloadlistedonthetirelabelisthemaximumpayloadfor
thevehicleasbuiltbytheassemblyplant.Ifanyaftermarketordealer
installedequipmenthasbeeninstalledonthevehicle,theweightofthe
equipmentmustbesubtractedfromthepayloadlistedonthetirelabel
inordertodeterminethenewpayload.
Theappropriateloadingcapacityofyourvehiclecanbelimited
eitherbyvolumecapacity(howmuchspaceisavailable)orby
payloadcapacity(howmuchweightthevehicleshouldcarry).Once
youhavereachedthemaximumpayloadofyourvehicle,donotadd
morecargo,evenifthereisspaceavailable.Overloadingorimproperly
loadingyourvehiclecancontributetolossofvehiclecontroland
vehiclerollover.
