Recliningtheseatbackcancauseanoccupanttoslideunderthe
seat’ssafetybelt,resultinginseverepersonalinjuriesinthe
eventofacollision.
Donotpilecargohigherthantheseatbackstoreducetheriskof
injuryinacollisionorsuddenstop.
Head restraints
Thepurposeoftheseheadrestraintsistohelplimitheadmotioninthe
eventofarearcollision.Toproperlyadjustyourheadrestraints,liftthe
headrestraintsothatitislocateddirectlybehindyourheadorasclose
tothatpositionaspossible.
Theheadrestraintscanbemoved
upanddown.Lifttheheadrestraint
sothatitislocateddirectlyoras
closeaspossiblebehindyourhead.
Pushcontroltolowerheadrestraint.
