failstostart,presstheacceleratortothefloorandtryagain;thiswill
allowtheenginetocrankwiththefuelshutoffincasetheengineis
floodedwithfuel.
Using the engine block heater (if equipped)

stronglyrecommendedifyoulivein
aregionwheretemperaturesreach
-10°F
(-23°C)orbelow.Forbest
results,plugtheheaterinatleast
threehoursbeforestartingthe
vehicle.Theheatercanbeplugged
inthenightbeforestartingthe
vehicle.Theplugfortheblock
heaterisexposedinthefrontofthe
vehicle,beneaththegrille.Vehicles
equippedwithagasolineenginehavetheplugexposedonthedriver
sideofthevehicle;vehiclesequippedwithaDieselenginehavetheplug
exposedonthepassengersideofthevehicle.
Toreducetheriskofelectricalshock,donotuseyourheater
withungroundedelectricalsystemsortwo-pronged(cheater)
adapters.
