Vehicles equ ipped  with   four speed   autom atic transaxles
may  experience  a  downshift   to 3rd  gear  while  climbing
uphill   or  descend ing  downhill.    This  downshift   to  3rd
gear  is necessary  to  maintain   vehicle  set speed .

you r vehicle’s  battery  and  charging   system ; no batteries
are need ed.
On  steep hills  a greater   speed  loss or  gain  may  occur so
it may  be  preferable  to  drive  withou t speed   control.

GARAGEDOOROPENER—IFEQUIPPED
NOTE:   The  HomeLink௡  system   will be  disabled   if the
Vehicle  Theft  Alarm  (if  equ ipped)   is  in the   Prearm ed,
Arm ed  or Alarm ing  state.  The  HomeLink௡   system  will
only  operate  when  the Vehicle Theft  Alarm  (if equ ipped)
is in  the Disarm ed  mode.
The  HomeLink௡   Universal    Transceiver   rep laces  up  to
three  rem ote controls  (hand  held  transm itters)  that  oper-
ate  devices    such  as   garage   door   openers,   motorized
gates,  or  hom e lighting.   It triggers   these  devices  at  the
