UNDERSTANDINGTHEFEATURESOFYOURVEHICLE
The UConnect™ system can be used with any Hand s
Free Profile certified Bluetooth™ cellular phone. If you r
cellular phone has a different profile (i.e. head set profile),
you will not be able to use any UConnect™ featu res.
prom pted for a specific command and then guided
throu gh the available options. There are two ways to give
command s to the UConnect™ system :

You can say ЉDialЉ at the ЉRead yЉ prom pt. When
prom pted for the phone nu mber you wish to dial, say
the phone nu mber (Љ123 456 7890Љ).
The UConnect™ system is fully integrated into you r
vehicle, inclu ding you r vehicle’s stereo system . All voice
prom pts as well as the other party’s voice in a conversa-
tion will be played over you r vehicle’s stereo system . The
volu me of the UConnect™ system can be controlled
throu gh you r norm al stereo controls.

Alternatively as you becom e familiar with the UCon-
nect™ system , you can combine the command s and
say ЉDial 123 456 7890Љ.
PairingaCellularPhonetotheUConnect™System
To begin using you r UConnect™ system , you must pair
you r compatible Bluetooth™ enabled cellular phone. To
complete the registration process, you will need to refer-
ence you r cellular phone owner’s manu al.
The rad io display will be used for visu al prom pts from
the UConnect™ system such as caller ID.
Operation
Voice command s can be used in the operation of the
UConnect™ system and to navigate throu gh the UCon-
nect™ menu stru cture. Voice command s shou ld be given
after each UConnect™ system prom pt. You will be

Press the ’Phone’ button to begin.
• After the ЉRead yЉ prom pt, say ЉSetup Phone PairingЉ.
