Locate the training button on the garage door motor
head unit. The exact location and color of the button may
vary by garage door opener manu factu rer. If you have
difficulty in locating the training button, check you r
garage door opener manu al, or call 1-800-355-3515 or, on
the Internet, at www.hom elink.com .
Your garage door opener shou ld now recognize you r
Universal Transceiver. The rem aining two buttons may 3
now be program med if this has not previou sly been
done. Refer to the Program ming instru ctions. You may
use either you r Universal Transceiver or you r original
hand -held transm itter to open you garage door.

Press and hold the training button on the garage door
opener head unit. This will activate the “training” light.

entry gates, requ ire you to press and release the hand
held transm itter button every two second s during pro-
gram ming.
NOTE: After completing step 2, you have 30 second s to
start step 3.

Retu rn to the Universal Transceiver in the vehicle and
firm ly press and release the garage door button. Press
and release the button a second time to complete the
Continu e to press and hold the Universal Transceiver
button while you press and release the hand held trans-
mitter button until the frequ ency signal has been learned .
