Many accessories that can be plugged in draw
power from the vehicle’s battery, even when not
in use (i.e. cellular phones, etc.). Eventually, if
pluggedinlongenough,thevehicle’sbatterywill
discharge sufficiently to degrade battery life
and/orpreventenginestarting.
Accessories that draw higher power (i.e. coolers,
vacuum cleaners, lights, etc.), will degrade the
battery even more quickly. Only use these inter-
mittentlyandwithgreatercaution.

RearPowerOutlet
Since this outlet is rem ote from the driver, it is powered
by the ignition switch, only when it is in the ЉONЉ or
ЉACCESSORYЉ positions, to protect the battery against
discharge. Note: Neither of the power outlets will accep t
a cigar lighter unit. They are intend ed only for accessory
usage.
