When  boosting  from a battery  in  another  vehicle,  park
WARNING!
that   vehicle   within   booster    cable  reach   but   withou  t
letting  the  vehicles  tou ch. Set parking  brake,  place  auto-
matic   transaxle   in  PARK  (manu  al  transaxle   in  NEU-
TRAL) and  turn  ignition   to OFF for  both  vehicles.
Battery fluid is a corrosive acid solution; do not
allowbatteryfluidtocontacteyes,skinorclothing.
Don’t lean over battery when attaching clamps or
allowtheclampstotoucheachother.Ifacidsplashes
in eyes or on skin, flush the contaminated area
immediatelywithlargequantitiesofwater.
