UNDERSTANDINGYOURINSTRUMENTPANEL
By  pressing   the   SCAN  button   when   the  PTY  icon  is
displayed  , the rad io will stop  at every  PTY station  on the
band  and   list  each  corresp ond ing program    typ e in  the
rad io display.
As a safegu ard  and  to protect  you r CD player,  one of the
follow ing warning   sym bols may appear   on you r display.
A CD HOT  sym bol ind icates  the player   is too  hot.
CD HOT  will  pause  the  operation.  Play  can  be resu med
when  the  operating   tem peratu re is  corrected  or  another
MODE  is selected .
Time
Press   the   TIME  button    to  change    the  display    from
elap sed CD  playing  time  to time  of  day.
CD  ERROR  will  appear   on  the  display   if  the  laser   is
unable  to  read  the Disc  data  for the  follow ing reasons:
OperatingInstructions-SatelliteRadioMode(If
Equipped)
Refer   to  the   Satellite   Radio   section   of   the   Owner’s
Manu al.

Disc inserted   upside  down
When  driving  over a very  rou gh road , the CD player may
skip  momentarily.   Skipping  will  not  damage  the  disc or
the  player,  and  play will  resu me autom  atically.
