The ’Voice Recognition’ button can be used when you
wish to skip part of a prom pt and issu e you r voice
recognition command immediately. For exam ple, if a
prom pt is playing ЉWould you like to pair a phone, clear
aѧЉ, you could press the ’Voice Recognition’ button and
say ЉPair A PhoneЉ to select that option withou t having to
listen to the rest of the voice prom pt.

You can use you r UConnect™ system to access a voice
mail system , an autom ated service, or any other phone
nu mber that you can dial with any phone. When calling
a nu mber with you r UConnect™ system that norm ally
requ ires you to enter in a tou ch-tone sequ ence on you r
cellular phone keyp ad, you can push the ’Voice Recogni-
tion’ button and say the sequ ence you wish to enter
follow ed byЉSendЉ. For exam ple, if requ ired to enter you r
pin nu mber, you can press the ’Voice Recognition’ button
and say Љ3 7 4 6 SendЉ, or whatever you have made you r
pin. This method can also be used in instances where you
are pressing a nu mber on you r keyp ad to navigate
throu gh a menu stru cture or to enter a nu mber for a
pager.
LanguageSelection
To change the langu age that the UConnect™ system is
using, press the ’Phone’ button and say the nam e of the
langu age you wish to switch to (English, Español, or
Français as equ ipped). After selecting one of the lan-
guages, all prom pts and voice command s will be in the
selected langu age.
