Guard against carbon monoxid e with prop er mainte-
nance. Have the exhau st system insp ected every time
the vehicle is raised . Have any abnorm al cond itions
rep aired prom ptly. Until rep aired , drive with all side
wind ows fully open.
FuelFillerCap(GasCap)
The gas cap is behind the fuel filler door, on the passen-
ger’s side of the vehicle. If the gas cap is lost or damaged ,
be sure the rep lacem ent cap is for use with this vehicle.
NOTE: When rem oving the fuel filler cap, lay the cap
tether in the hook, located on the fuel filler cap door
reinforcem ent.
Keep the liftgate closed when driving you r vehicle to
prevent carbon monoxid e and other poisonou s ex-
hau st gases from entering the vehicle.

ADDINGFUEL
CAUTION!
The fuel tank filler tube has a restricting door abou t 2
inches (50 mm) insid e the opening. If using a portable
container, it shou ld have a flexible nozzle long enou gh to
force open the restricting door.
Damage to the fuel system or emission control
system could result from using an improper fuel
tank filler tube cap (gas cap). A poorly fitting cap
couldletimpuritiesintothefuelsystem.
