the vehicle. This could result in flash fire causing

Letting the engine idle after severe operation
allow s the turbine hou sing to cool to norm al operating
tem peratu re.
CAUTION!
The follow ing chart shou ld be used as a guide in deter-
minning the amount of engine idle time requ ired to
sufficiently cool down the turbocharger before shu t
down, depend ing upon the typ e of driving and the
amount of cargo.
To prevent damage to the starter, do not crank the
engineformorethan15secondsatatime.Wait10to
secondsbeforetryingagain.
