Afteryouhavetraveled50miles(80km),thoroughlycheckyour
hitch,electricalconnectionsandtrailerwheellugnuts.
Toaidinengine/transmissioncoolingandA/Cefficiencyduringhot
weatherwhilestoppedintraffic,placethegearshiftleverinP(Park)
(automatictransmission)orN(Neutral)(manualtransmissions).

Vehicleswithtrailersshouldnotbeparkedonagrade.Ifyoumust
parkonagrade,placewheelchocksunderthetrailer’ swheels.
Launching or retrieving a boat
Disconnectthewiringtothetrailerbeforebackingthetrailer
intothewater.Reconnectthewiringtothetrailerafterthe
trailerisremovedfromthewater.
Whenbackingdownarampduringboatlaunchingorretrieval:

therearbumper.

exampleofrecreationaltowingwouldbetowingyourvehiclebehinda
motorhome.Theseguidelinesaredesignedtoensurethatyour
transmissionisnotdamaged.
