Allvehicledoorsareclosed.
Thedriver’ssafetybeltisunbuckled.
Theparklamps/headlampsareinOFFposition(Ifvehicleisequipped
withAutolamps,thiswillnotaffecttheprocedure).
WARNING: Toreducetheriskofinjury,donot
deactivate/activatetheBeltMinderfeaturewhiledrivingthe
vehicle.
BeltMinderactivationanddeactivationprocedure
1.
TurntheignitionswitchtotheRUN(orON)position.(DONOT
STARTTHEENGINE.)
2.
Waituntilthesafetybeltwarninglightturnsoff.(Approximately1–2
minutes.)

Steps3–5mustbecompletedwithin60secondsortheprocedurewill
havetoberepeated.
3.
Bucklethenunbucklethesafetybeltthreetimes,endingwiththe
safetybeltunbuckled.ThiscanbedonebeforeorduringBeltMinder
warningactivation.
4.
Turnontheparklamps/headlamps,turnoffthe
parklamps/headlamps.
