Fullyapplytheparkingbrake,thenshiftinto1(First).
Turntheignitionoff.
WARNING: DonotparkyourvehicleinNeutral,itmaymove
unexpectedlyandinjuresomeone.Use1(First)gearandset
theparkingbrakefully.
Removing the key
Turntheignitionoff,pushthe
releaselever(locatedabovethe
ignition),thenturnthekeytoward
youandremovethekey.
Ifyourvehiclegetsstuckinmudorsnow
Ifyourvehiclegetsstuckinmudorsnow,itmayberockedoutby
shiftingbetweenforwardandreversegears,stoppingbetweenshiftsina
steadypattern.Presslightlyontheacceleratorineachgear.
Donotrockthevehicleiftheengineisnotatnormaloperating
temperatureordamagetothetransmissionmayoccur.
Donotrockthevehicleformorethanaminuteordamagetothe
transmissionandtiresmayoccur,ortheenginemayoverheat.
