fracturesandinjuriestounderlyingorgans.Inacrash,iftheair
bagisturnedOFF,thisenergymanagementsafetybeltmight
permitthepersonwearingthebelttomoveforwardenoughto
incuraseriousorfatalinjury.Themoreseverethecrash,and
theheaviertheoccupant,thegreatertheriskis.Besuretheair
bagisturnedONforanypersonwhodoesnotqualifyunderthe
TransportCanadadeactivationcriteria.

U.S.andCanada.Manystatesrequirethatchildrenuseapprovedbooster
seatsuntiltheyareeightyearsold.Checkyourlocalandstateor
provinciallawsforspecificrequirementsregardingthesafetyofchildren
inyourvehicle.

whilethevehicleismoving.Thepassengercannotprotectthe
childfrominjuryinacollision.
