tongueiscomingfrom)until
youhearasnapandfeelit
latch.Makesurethetongueis
securelyfastenedinthebuckle.

Tounfasten,pushtherelease
buttonandremovethetongue
fromthebuckle.
Thefrontoutboardsafetyrestraintsinthevehiclearecombinationlap
andshoulderbelts.Thefrontpassengeroutboardsafetybelthastwo
typesoflockingmodesdescribedbelow:
Energy Management Feature

Thisvehiclehasasafetybeltsystemwithanenergymanagement
featureatthefrontoutboardseatingpositionstohelpfurtherreduce
theriskofinjuryintheeventofahead-oncollision.

Thissafetybeltsystemhasaretractorassemblythatisdesignedto
payoutwebbinginacontrolledmanner.Thisfeatureisdesignedto
helpreducethebeltforceactingontheoccupant’ schest.
Vehicle sensitive mode
Thisisthenormalretractormode,whichallowsfreeshoulderbeltlength
adjustmenttoyourmovementsandlockinginresponsetovehicle
movement.Forexample,ifthedriverbrakessuddenlyorturnsacorner
sharply,orthevehiclereceivesanimpactofapproximately5mph(8km/h)
ormore,thecombinationsafetybeltswilllocktohelpreduceforward
movementofthedriverandpassengers.
