thissystemisdesignedtoimproveyourchancesofbeingsafely
beltedandsurvivinganaccident.Werecommendyouleavethe
Belt-Mindersystemactivatedforyourselfandotherswhomayusethe
vehicle.Toreducetheriskofinjury,donotdeactivate/activatethe
Belt-Minderfeaturewhiledrivingthevehicle.

TurntheignitionswitchtotheRUN(orON)position.DONOTSTART
THEENGINE.

Waituntilthesafetybeltwarninglightturnsoff(Approximately
minute).

Step3mustbecompletedwithin50secondsafterthesafetybelt
warninglightturnsoff.

Fortheseatingpositionbeingdisabled,bucklethenunbucklethe
safetybelt9times,endingintheunbuckledstate.Step3mustbe
completedwithin50secondsafterthesafetybeltwarninglightturnsoff.

AfterStep3,thesafetybeltwarninglightwillbeturnedonforthree
seconds.

Withinapproximatelysevensecondsofthelightturningoff,buckle
thenunbucklethesafetybelt.

ThiswilldisabletheBelt-Minderfeatureforthatseatingpositionifit
iscurrentlyenabled.Asconfirmation,thesafetybeltwarninglightwill
flashfourtimespersecondforthreeseconds.
ThiswillenabletheBelt-Minderfeatureforthatseatingpositionifit
iscurrentlydisabled.Asconfirmation,thesafetybeltwarninglightwill
flashfourtimespersecondforthreeseconds,followedbythree
secondswiththelightoff,thenfollowedbythesafetybeltwarning
lightflashingfourtimespersecondforthreesecondsagain.
•
Afterreceivingconfirmation,thedeactivation/activationprocedureis
complete.
