veryimportantthattheycontinuetositproperly.Aproperlyseated
occupantsitsupright,leaningagainsttheseatback,andcenteredonthe
seatcushion,withtheirfeetcomfortablyextendedonthefloor.Sitting
improperlycanincreasethechanceofinjuryinacrashevent.For
example,ifanoccupantslouches,liesdown,turnssideways,sitsforward,
leansforwardorsideways,orputsoneorbothfeetup,thechanceof
injuryduringacrashisgreatlyincreased.
Sittingimproperlyoutofpositionorwiththeseatbackreclined
toofarcantakeoffweightfromtheseatcushionandaffectthe
decisionofthefrontpassengersensingsystem,resultinginserious
injuryordeathinacrash.
Alwayssituprightagainstyourseatback,withyourfeetonthefloor.
