ToreturntoD(Overdrive),movethegearshiftleverintothe
D(Overdrive)position.
Selecting2(Second)athigherspeedswillcausethetransaxleto
downshifttosecondgearattheappropriatevehiclespeed.

Providesmaximumenginebraking.
Allowsupshiftsbymovinggearshiftlever.
Willnotdownshiftinto1(First)athighspeeds;allowsfor1(First)
whenvehiclereachesslowerspeeds.
Whenparking,donotusethegearshiftinplaceoftheparking
brake.Alwayssettheparkingbrakefullyandmakesurethatthe
gearshiftissecurelylatchedinP(Park).Turnofftheignition
wheneveryouleaveyourvehicle.Neverleaveyourvehicleunattended
whileitisrunning.Ifyoudonottaketheseprecautions,yourvehicle
maymoveunexpectedlyandinjuresomeone.
Forceddownshifts
AllowedinD(Overdrive)orDrive.
Depresstheacceleratortothefloor.
Allowstransmissiontoselectanappropriategear.
If your vehicle gets  stuck in mud or snow
Ifyourvehiclegetsstuckinmudorsnow,itmayberockedoutby
shiftingbetweenforwardandreversegears,stoppingbetweenshiftsina
steadypattern.Presslightlyontheacceleratorineachgear.
Donotrockthevehicleiftheengineisnotatnormaloperating
temperatureordamagetothetransmissionmayoccur.
Donotrockthevehicleformorethanaminuteordamagetothe
transmissionandtiresmayoccur,ortheenginemayoverheat.
