IfafailurehasbeendetectedwithintheAdvanceTracwithRSC
system,theЉslidingcarЉicon
willilluminatesteadily.Verify
thattheAdvanceTracwithRSCsystemisnotmanuallydisabled
(pushtheAdvanceTracwithRSCbuttonlocatedonthecenterstack
oftheinstrumentpanel).IftheЉslidingcarЉicon
stillilluminates
steadily,havethesystemservicebyanauthorizeddealerimmediately.
OperatingyourvehiclewithAdvanceTracwithRSCdisabledmay
severelyreduceyourabilitytocontrolyourvehicle.Failuretohave
yourvehicleproperlyservicedwillincreasetheriskofanaccident,
injuryorpropertydamage.
STEERING
YourvehicleisequippedwithanElectricPower-AssistedSteering
(EPAS)system.Thereisnofluidreservoirtocheckorfill.
Ifyourvehicleloseselectricalpowerwhileyouaredriving(orifthe
ignitionisturnedoff),youcansteerthevehiclemanually,butittakes
moreeffort.Underextremeusageconditions,thesteeringeffortmay
increase.Thisoccurstopreventoverheatingandpermanentdamageto
yoursteeringsystem.Ifthisshouldoccur,youwillneitherlosetheability
tosteerthevehiclemanuallynorwillitcausepermanentdamage.
Typicalsteeringanddrivingmaneuverswillallowthesystemtocooland
steeringassistwillreturntonormal.
