Toreplacethebattery:
1.
Twistathincoinintheslotofthe
IKTnearthekeyringinorderto
removethebatterycover.
2.
Donotwipeoffanygreaseonthe
batteryterminalsontheback
surfaceofthecircuitboard.
3.Removetheoldbattery.Note:Pleaserefertolocalregulationswhen
disposingoftransmitterbatteries.
4.
Insertthenewbattery.RefertotheinstructionsinsidetheIKTforthe
correctorientationofthebattery.Pressthebatterydowntoensurethat
thebatteryisfullyseatedinthebatteryhousingcavity.
5.
Snapthebatterycoverbackontothekey.
Note:ReplacementofthebatterywillnotcausetheIKTtobecome
deprogrammedfromyourvehicle.TheIKTshouldoperatenormallyafter
batteryreplacement.
Replacing lost Integrated Keyhead  Transmitters (IKTs)
IfyouwouldliketohaveyourIntegratedKeyheadTransmitters
reprogrammedbecauseyoulostone,orwouldliketobuyadditional
IKTs,youcaneitherreprogramthemyourself,ortakeallIKTstoyour
authorizeddealerforreprogramming.
HowtoreprogramyourIntegratedKeyheadTransmitters(IKTs)
ToprogramanewIntegratedKeyheadTransmitteryourself,referto
ProgrammingsparekeysintheSecuriLock™passiveanti-theft
sectionofthischapter.Note:AtleasttwoIKTsarerequiredtoperform
thisprocedureyourself.
