Ifanytireisunder-inflated,carefullydrivethevehicletothenearest
locationwhereaircanbeaddedtothetires.Inflateallthetirestothe
recommendedinflationpressure.
SNOW TIRES AND CABLES
Snowtiresmustbethesamesize,loadindex,speedratingas
thoseoriginallyprovidedbyFord.Useofanytireorwheelnot
recommendedbyFordcanaffectthesafetyandperformanceofyour
vehicle,whichcouldresultinanincreasedriskoflossofvehicle
control,vehiclerollover,personalinjuryanddeath.Additionally,the
useofnon-recommendedtiresandwheelscouldcausesteering,
suspension,axleortransfercase/powertransferunitfailure.
Thetiresonyourvehiclehaveallweathertreadstoprovidetractionin
rainandsnow.However,insomeclimates,youmayneedtousesnow
tiresandcables.Ifyouneedtousecables,itisrecommendedthatsteel
wheels(ofthesamesizeandspecifications)beused,ascablesmaychip
aluminumwheels.
Followtheseguidelineswhenusingsnowtiresandtractiondevices:

SAEclass“S”cablesshouldONLYbeusedonthefrontaxlefor
P235/70R16tires.

DonotusecablesorchainswithP225/65R17tires.
Installcablessecurely,verifyingthatthecablesdonottouchany
wiring,brakelinesorfuellines.

Drivecautiously.Ifyouhearthecablesruborbangagainstthe
vehicle,stopandretightenthem.Ifthisdoesnotwork,removethe
cablestopreventvehicledamage.
