properly,itmaynotprotectthe
occupantinacrash.
Nooneshouldsitinaseatwithan
inoperativeseatbelt.Usingaseat
beltthatisnotworkingproperlycan
resultinseriousinjuryordeath.
Haveyourdealercheckthebeltas
soonaspossible.
Sittingimproperlycanincreasethe
chanceofinjuryduringacrash.For
example,ifanoccupantslouches,
liesdown,turnssideways,sits
forward,leansforwardorsideways,
orputsoneorbothfeetup,the
chanceofinjuryduringacrashis
greatlyincreased.
Thefrontseatshaveadjustableseat
beltanchors.Toadjusttheheightof
ananchor,pressandholdtherelease
buttonandslidetheanchorupor
downasneeded(ithasfour
positions).
