Theimmobilizersystemprotects
yourvehiclefromtheft.Ifan
improperly-codedkey(orother
device)isused,theengine’sfuel
systemisdisabled.
Ifthesystemrepeatedlydoesnot
recognizethecodingofyourkey,
contactyourdealer.
AsrequiredbytheFCC:
ThisdevicecomplieswithPart15ofthe
FCCrules.Operationissubjecttothe
followingtwoconditions:(1)Thisdevice
maynotcauseharmfulinterference,and
(2)thisdevicemustacceptany
interferencereceived,including
interferencethatmaycauseundesired
operation.
Donotattempttoalterthissystem
oraddotherdevicestoit.Electrical
problemscouldresultthatmaymake
yourvehicleundrivable.
Whenyouturntheignitionswitchto
theON(II)position,theimmobilizer
systemindicatorshouldcomeon
briefly,thengooff.Iftheindicator
startstoblink,itmeansthesystem
doesnotrecognizethecodingofthe
key.Turntheignitionswitchtothe
LOCK(0)position,removethekey,
reinsertit,andturntheignition
Ifyouloseyourkeyandyoucannot
starttheengine,contactyourdealer.
Changesormodificationsnotexpressly
approvedbythepartyresponsiblefor
compliancecouldvoidtheuser’s
authoritytooperatetheequipment.
Alwaystaketheignitionkeywithyou
wheneveryouleavethevehiclealone.

Thesystemmaynotrecognizeyour
key’scodingifanotherimmobilizer
keyorothermetalobject(i.e.key
chain)isneartheignitionswitch
whenyouinsertthekey.
Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwo
conditions:(1)thisdevicemaynotcause
interference,and(2)thisdevicemust
acceptanyinterferencethatmaycause
undesiredoperationofthedevice.
