TPMSindicatorcomeson,theVSA
systemautomaticallyturnsonevenif
theVSAsystemisturnedoffby
pressingtheVSAOFFswitch(see
page294).Ifthishappens,you
byselectivelyapplyingthebrakes.

whenitissafe,andturnoffthe
engine.Resetthesystemby
restartingtheengine.IftheVSA
systemindicatorstaysonorcomes
backonwhiledriving,havetheVSA
systeminspectedbyyourdealer.
WhenVSAactivates,youmaynotice
thattheenginedoesnotrespondto
theacceleratorinthesamewayit
doesatothertimes.Theremayalso
besomenoisefromtheVSA
hydraulicsystem.Youwillalsosee
theVSAactivationindicatorblink.
cannotturntheVSAsystemoffby
pressingtheVSAoffswitchagain.
WithoutVSA,yourvehiclewillhave
normalbrakingandcorneringability,
butitwillnothaveVSAtractionand
stabilityenhancement.
TheVSAsystemcannotenhancethe
vehicle’sdrivingstabilityinall
situationsanddoesnotcontrolyour
vehicle’sentirebrakingsystem.Itis
stillyourresponsibilitytodriveand
corneratreasonablespeedsandto
leaveasufficientmarginofsafety.
