Iftheweightsensorsdetectthereis
nopassengerinthefrontseat,the

passengerairbagoffindicatorwill
notcomeon.

behindthefrontpassenger’sseat
isproperlypositionedonthefloor
(seepage338).Ifitisnot,themat
mayinterferewiththeproper
operationofthefrontpassenger’s
seatanditssensors.
Thepassenger’sadvancedfront
airbagsystemhasweightsensors
undertheseat.AlthoughHonda
doesnotencouragecarryingan
infantorsmallchildinfront,ifthe
sensorsdetecttheweightofan
infantorsmallchild(uptoabout65
lbsor29kg),thesystemwill
automaticallyturnthepassenger’s
frontairbagoff.
Toensurethatthepassenger’s
advancedfrontairbagsystemwill
workproperly,donotdoanything
thatwouldincreaseordecreasethe
weightonthefront passenger’sseat.
Thisincludes:
Arearpassengerpushingor
pullingonthebackofthefront
passenger’sseat.
