theenginecontrolmodule(ECM)in
manualtransmissionvehiclesuses
varioussensorstodeterminehow
muchairisgoingintotheengine.It

intheexhaustsystem.Through
chemicalreactions,itconvertsHC,
CO,andNOxintheengine’sexhaust
tocarbondioxide(CO),nitrogen
