Forexample,ifyoucheckandfill
yourtiresinawarmarea,thendrive
inextremelycoldweather,thetire
pressurewillbelowerthan
informationlabelandintheowner’s
manual(seepage344 ).
Whenyourestartthevehiclewith
thecompactsparetire,theTPMS
indicatormayalsocomeonandstay
onafterdrivingseveralmiles
(kilometers).
TirePressureMonitoring
measuredandcouldbeunderinflated
andcausethelowtirepressure
indicatortocomeon.Or,ifyou
checkandadjustyourtirepressure
incoolerconditions,anddriveinto
extremelyhotconditions,thetire
maybecomeoverinflated.However,
thelowtirepressureindicatorwill
notcomeonifthetiresare
System(TPMS)Indicator
Thisindicatorcomesonandstayson
ifthereisaproblemwiththetire
pressuremonitoringsystem.
Ifthishappens,thesystemwillshut
offandnolongermonitortire
pressures.Havethesystemchecked
byyourdealerassoonaspossible.
