conditionofyourseatbeltsregularly. themifneeded.Iftheautomaticseat
belttensionersactivateduringa
Pulleachbeltoutfully,andlookfor
frays,cuts,burns,andwear.Check
thatthelatchesworksmoothlyand
thebeltsretracteasily.Ifabeltdoes
notretracteasily,cleaningthebelt
maycorrecttheproblem(seepage
338).Anybeltthatisnotingood
conditionorworkingproperlywill
notprovidegoodprotectionand
shouldbereplacedassoonas
possible.

Whenthetensionersareactivated,
theseatbeltswillremaintightuntil
theyareunbuckled.

Ifaseatbeltiswornduringacrash,
itmustbereplacedbythedealer.A
beltthathasbeenwornduringa
