Ifthemalfunctionindicatorlamp
comesonalongwiththe‘‘D’’
indicator,thereisaproblemwiththe
automatictransmissioncontrol
system.Avoidrapidacceleration,and
havethetransmissioncheckedby
yourdealerassoonaspossible.
RELEASEBUTTON
Theseindicatorsbetweenthe
tachometerandspeedometershow
whichpositiontheshiftleverisin.
ToshiftfromParktoanyposition,
pressfirmlyonthebrakepedal,and
pressthereleasebuttononthefront
oftheshiftlever,thenmovethe
lever.YoucannotshiftoutofPark
whentheignitionswitchisinthe
LOCK(0)orACCESSORY(I)
position.
