AutomaticLightingOffFeature
Thisfeatureturnsofftheheadlights,
allotherexteriorlights,andthe
instrumentpanellightswithin15
secondsafteryouremovethekey
andclosethedriver’sdoor.
Ifyouturntheignitionswitchtothe
LOCK(0)positionwiththe
headlightswitchon,butdonotopen
thedoorandgetout,thelightsturn
offafter10minutes(3minutes,if
theswitchisinthe‘‘AUTO’’
position).
DaytimeRunningLights
Withtheheadlightswitchofforin
position,thehighbeam
the
headlightsandthehighbeam
indicatorcomeonwithreduced
brightnesswhenyouturnthe
ignitionswitchtotheON(II)
positionandreleasetheparking
brake.Theyremainonuntilyouturn
theignitionswitchoff,evenifyou
settheparkingbrake.
Theautomaticlightingofffeature
activatesifyouleavetheheadlight
Thelightswillturnonagainwhen
youunlockoropenthedriver’sdoor.
Ifyouunlockthedoor,butdonot
openitwithin15seconds,thelights
willgooff.Withthedriver’sdoor
open,youwillhearalights-on
reminderchime.
switchinthe‘‘
’’or‘‘
’’
positionorifthelightsareturnedon
bysettingtheswitchinthe‘‘AUTO’’
position(ifequipped),andyou
removethekey,thenopenandclose
thedriver’sdoor.
Theheadlightsreverttonormal
operationwhenyouturnthemon
withtheswitch.
