Turntheignitionfromthe1(off)
positiontothe3(on)position.Keep
theignitioninthe3(on)position
foratleastthreeseconds,butnomorethan10seconds.
3.Turntheignitiontothe1(off)positionandremovethefirstcoded
keyfromtheignition.
4.
the1(off)position,insertthesecondpreviouslycodedkeyintothe
ignition.
Afterthreesecondsbutwithin10secondsofturningtheignitionto

theignitioninthe3(on)positionforatleastthreeseconds,butnomore
than10seconds.
Turntheignitionfromthe1(off)positiontothe3(on)position.Keep
6.
Turntheignitiontothe1(off)positionandremovethesecond
previouslyprogrammedcodedkeyfromtheignition.
7.
Afterthreesecondsbutwithin20secondsofturningtheignitionto
the1(off)positionandremovingthepreviouslyprogrammedcoded
key,insertthenewunprogrammedkey(newkey/valetkey)intothe
ignition.
8.
Turntheignitionfromthe1(off)positiontothe3(on)position.Keep
theignitioninthe3(on)positionforatleastsixseconds.
9.
Removethenewlyprogrammedcodedkeyfromtheignition.
Ifthekeyhasbeensuccessfullyprogrammeditwillstartthevehicle’s
engineandwilloperatetheremoteentrysystem(ifthenewkeyisan
integratedkeyheadtransmitter).Thetheftindicatorlightwillilluminate
forthreesecondsandthengoouttoindicatesuccessfulprogramming.
Ifthekeywasnotsuccessfullyprogrammed,itwillnotstartyour
vehicle’sengineand/orwillnotoperatetheremoteentryfeatures.The
theftindicatorlightmayflashonandoff.Wait20secondsandyoumay
repeatSteps1through8.Iffailurerepeats,bringyourvehicletoyour
authorizeddealertohavethenewkey(s)programmed.
Toprogramadditionalnewunprogrammedkey(s),wait20secondsand
thenrepeatthisprocedurefromStep1.
