Typesofboosterseats
Therearegenerallytwotypesofbelt-positioningboosterseats:backless
andhighback.Alwaysuseboosterseatsinconjunctionwiththevehicle
lap/shoulderbelt.

Ifyourbacklessboosterseathasa
removableshield,removethe
shield.Ifavehicleseatingposition
hasalowseatbackornohead
restraint,abacklessboosterseat
mayplaceyourchild’shead(as
measuredatthetopsoftheears)
abovethetopoftheseat.Inthis
case,movethebacklessbooster
toanotherseatingpositionwitha
higherseatbackorheadrestraintandlap/shoulderbelts,orconsider
usingahighbackboosterseat.
