Replacingtail/brake/turnsignal/backuplampbulbs
Thetail/brake/turnsignalandbackuplampbulbsarelocatedinthetail
lampassembly.Followthesamestepstoreplaceeitherbulb.
1.
Makesuretheheadlampcontrolisintheoffpositionandopenthe
trunk.
2.
Liftouttrunkfloorcarpetingpaneltoaccessaluggagescuffplate
(hardmolding)andatrunksidepanel(darkgrey,softwheelhouseside
trimpanel)atthelamparea.
3.
Carefullypull/pushthetrunksidepanel(darkgrey,softwheelhouse
sidetrimpanel)outboardtoexposethelampassembly.Themost
effectivepointtograspthetrunksidepanelwhenpullingitoutfromthe
luggagescuffplateisatit’sbottomedgewherethatedgemeetsthe
exposedsheetmetalofthetrunkfloor.
Note:Donotallowthetrunksidepaneltoremainbentanduntucked
fromtheluggagescuffplate(hardmolding)foralongperiodoftime.
Doingsomayresultinpermanentdeformation.
4.
Removethebulbsocketby
turningitcounterclockwiseand
pullingitstraightout.
5.
Pullthebulbfromthesocketand
pushinthenewbulb.
6.
Installthebulbsocketintothe
lampassemblybyrotatingit
clockwise.
7.
Carefullypushthetrunkside
panel(darkgrey,softwheelhouse
sidetrimpanel)backinpositiontotheluggagescuffplate(hard
molding).
8.
Installtrunkfloorcarpetingpanel.
Replacinghigh-mountbrakelampbulb
YourvehicleisequippedwithanLEDcenterhigh-mountstoplamp.Itis
designedtolastthelifeofthevehicle.Ifreplacementisrequired,see
yourauthorizeddealer.
