InordertopreventtheenginefromrunningattoolowanRPM,which
maycauseittostall,theSSTwillstillautomaticallymakesome
downshiftsifithasdeterminedthatyouhavenotdownshiftedintime.
AlthoughtheSSTwillmakesomedownshiftsforyou,itwillstillallow
youtodownshiftatanytimeaslongastheSSTdeterminesthatthe
enginewillnotbedamagedfromover-revving.
TheSSTwillnotautomaticallyupshift,eveniftheengineisapproaching
theRPMlimit.Itmustbeshiftedmanuallybymovingthegearshiftlever
backtoward(+)andreleasing.
Enginedamagemayoccurifexcessiveenginerevvingisheld
withoutshifting.
If your vehicle gets stuck in mud or snow
Ifyourvehiclegetsstuckinmudorsnow,itmayberockedoutby
shiftingbetweenforwardandreversegears,stoppingbetweenshiftsina
steadypattern.Presslightlyontheacceleratorineachgear.
Donotrockthevehicleiftheengineisnotatnormaloperating
temperatureordamagetothetransmissionmayoccur.
Donotrockthevehicleformorethanaminuteordamagetothe
transmissionandtiresmayoccur,ortheenginemayoverheat.
