Thefluidlevelwilldropslowlyasthebrakeswear,andwillrisewhenthe
brakecomponentsarereplaced.FluidlevelsbetweentheMINandMAX
linesarewithinthenormaloperatingrange;thereisnoneedtoadd
fluid.Ifthefluidlevelsareoutsideofthenormaloperatingrange,the
performanceofthesystemcouldbecompromised;seekservicefrom
yourauthorizeddealerimmediately.
TRANSMISSION FLUID
Checking 6-speed automatic transmission  fluid (AWF21)
(if equipped)
Refertoyourscheduledmaintenanceinformationforscheduled
intervalsforfluidchecksandchanges.Yourtransmissiondoesnot
consumefluid.However,thefluidlevelshouldbecheckedifthe
transmissionisnotworkingproperly,i.e.,ifthetransmissionslipsor
shiftsslowlyorifyounoticesomesignoffluidleakage.
