items,orasecondkeyonthesame
keyringasthecodedkeymay
causevehiclestartingissues.If
present,youneedtokeepthese
objectsfromtouchingthecoded
keywhilestartingtheengine.These
objectsanddevicescannotdamage
thecodedkey,butcancausea
momentaryNO—STARTconditionif
theyaretooclosetothekeyduring
enginestart.Ifaproblemoccurs,
turnignitionOFFandrestartthe
enginewithallotherobjectsonthe
keyringheldawayfromtheignitionkey.Checktomakesurethecoded
keyisanapprovedFordcodedkey.

Useyoursparekeytostartthe
vehicle,or
Haveyourvehicletowedtoa
dealershiporalocksmith.The
keycodeswillneedtobeerased
fromyourvehicleandnewkeycodeswillneedtobere-coded.
Replacingcodedkeyscanbeverycostlyandyoumaywanttostorean
extraprogrammedkeyawayfromthevehicleinasafeplacetoprevent
anunforeseeninconvenience.
Thecorrectcodedkeymustbeusedforyourvehicle.Theuseofthe
wrongtypeofcodedkeymayleadtoa“NO-START”condition.
Ifanunprogrammedkeyisusedintheignitionitwillcausea
“NOSTART”condition.
