adaptivelearningstrategy.Thisfeatureisdesignedtooptimizeshift
smoothness.Itisnormalforyourtransaxletoshiftfirmlyduringthefirstfew
hundredkilometers(miles)ofoperationuntiltheadaptivestrategyhasbeen
learned.Theadaptivelearningstrategyismaintainedbypowerfromthe
battery.Whenthebatteryisdisconnectedoranewbatteryisinstalled,the
transaxlemustrelearnitsadaptivestrategy.Optimalshiftingwillresume
withinafewhundredkilometers(miles)ofoperation.
Yourautomaticoverdrivetransaxle
providesfullyautomaticoperationin
eitherD(Overdrive)orwiththe
O/DOFFswitchdepressed.Driving
withthegearshiftleverinD
(Overdrive)givesthebestfuel
economyfornormaldriving
conditions.
Formanualcontrol,startin1(First)andthenshiftmanually.
Toputyourvehicleingear,startthe
