Tire change procedure
Whenoneofthefrontwheelsisofftheground,thetransmission
alonewillnotpreventthevehiclefrommovingorslippingoffthe
jack,evenifthevehicleisinP(Park)(automatictransaxle)orR
(Reverse)(manualtransaxle).
Topreventthevehiclefrommovingwhenyouchangeatire,be
suretheparkingbrakeisset,thenblock(inbothdirections)the
wheelthatisdiagonallyopposite(othersideandendofthevehicle)to
thetirebeingchanged.
Ifthevehicleslipsoffthejack,youorsomeoneelsecouldbe
seriouslyinjured.
