CLEANING THE ENGINE
Enginesaremoreefficientwhentheyarecleanbecausegreaseanddirt
buildupkeeptheenginewarmerthannormal.Whenwashing:

Theenginemustbecooltothetouchbeforesprayingwithwater.
Neversprayahotenginewithcoldwater,asdamagetothe
engineblockorenginecomponentsmayoccur.

Usecautionwhenusingaself-servepowerwasher(1000psimaximum
pressure)tocleantheengine,asthehigh-pressurefluidcould
penetratethesealedpartsandcausedamage.

Neverapplyanythingtoanyexposedbeltsintheengine
compartment,includingbeltdressing.
Forgeneralcleaningoftheengineandenginecompartment,spray
EngineShampooandDegreaser(F4AZ-19A536–A)onallpartsthat
requirecleaningandpressurerinsetheareawithcoolwater.
