TheSafetyCertificationLabel,foundonthedriver’sdoorpillar,lists
severalimportantvehicleweightratinglimitations.Beforeaddingany
additionalequipment,refertotheselimitations.Ifyouareaddingweight
tothefrontofyourvehicle,(potentiallyincludingweightaddedtothe
cab),theweightaddedshouldnotexceedthefrontaxlereservecapacity
(FARC).Additionalfrontalweightmaybeaddedtothefrontaxlereserve
capacityprovidedyoulimityourpayloadinotherways(i.e.restrictthe
numberofoccupantsoramountofcargocarried).
Alwaysensurethattheweightofoccupants,cargoandequipmentbeing
carriediswithintheweightlimitationsthathavebeenestablishedfor
yourvehicleincludingbothgrossvehicleweightandfrontandreargross
axleweightratinglimits.Undernocircumstanceshouldtheselimitations
beexceeded.
Exceedinganyvehicleweightratinglimitationcouldresultin
seriousdamagetothevehicleand/orpersonalinjury.

Forimportantinformationregardingsafeoperationofthistype

Loadedvehicles,withahighercenterofgravity,mayhandle
differentlythanunloadedvehicles.Extraprecautions,suchas
slowerspeedsandincreasedstoppingdistance,shouldbetakenwhen
drivingaheavilyloadedvehicle.
