todegenerateandreducetirelife,andexcessivetemperaturecanleadto
suddentirefailure.ThegradeCcorrespondstoalevelofperformance
whichallpassengercartiresmustmeetundertheFederalMotorVehicle
SafetyStandardNo.109.GradesBandArepresenthigherlevelsof
performanceonthelaboratorytestwheelthantheminimumrequiredby
law.
Thetemperaturegradeforthistireisestablishedforatirethat
isproperlyinflatedandnotoverloaded.Excessivespeed,
underinflation,orexcessiveloading,eitherseparatelyorin
combination,cancauseheatbuildupandpossibletirefailure.
