safetyseatsincombinationlap
andshoulderbeltseatingpositionssectionofthischapterforfurther
instructionstosecurethechildsafetyseat.

Tightenthechildsafetyseattetherstrapaccordingtothe
manufacturer’sinstructions.
Ifthesafetyseatisnotanchoredproperly,theriskofachild
beinginjuredinacollisiongreatlyincreases.

childseat.Forforward-facingchildseats,thetetherstrapmustalsobe
