The air conditioner cooling function
operates only when the engine is
running.
1.
Push the A/C button. (A/C OFF will be
displayedandA/Cindicatorwillturnoff.)
Thismodemaybenormallyusedallyearround
as the system automatically works to keep a
constant temperature. Air flow distribution and
fanspeedarealsocontrolledautomatically.
2.
Turn the temperature set dial to the left or
righttosetthedesiredtemperature.
Do not leave children or adults who
would normally require the support
of others alone in your vehicle. Pets
should not be left alone either. On
hot, sunny days, temperatures in a
closedvehiclecouldquicklybecome
highenoughtocausesevereorpos-
sibly fatal injuries to people or ani-
mals.

displayed.)

ment will be maintained automatically. Air
flowdistributionandfanspeedarealsocon-
trolledautomatically.
2. Turn the temperature set dial to the left or
righttosetthedesiredtemperature.

Adjustthetemperaturesetdialtoabout75°F
(24°C)fornormaloperation.
¼ Do not set the temperature lower than the
outside air temperature. Otherwise the sys-
temmaynotworkproperly.

The temperature of the passenger compart-

Notrecommendedifwindowsfogup.

Donotusetherecirculationmodefor
long periods as it may cause the
